A consistent daily prayer life is essential if you are to be a pure channel through which the Holy Spirit can flow. It is only the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man that availeth much (James 5:16). Prayer is a necessity for the preservation and welfare of your family. God is seeking intercessors to stand in the gap before Him (Ex. 22:30). Let us join the many countless believers through the centuries in tarrying before Him, in magnifying His wonderful Name, and in being empowered by the Holy Spirit through prayer. Tuesday is the Corporate Day of Prayer and Fasting at Evangel. Please consider joining the leadership every Tuesday with prayer and fasting.

We have multiple opportunities each week for prayer ministry at Evangel. Our Passionate Prayer Team meets at 8:00 each Sunday morning with our Lead Pastor, Michael Rippy to pray for the Sunday services. During 10:00 service, there are always opportunities for individual prayer for the sick and the various needs of the congregation. Every prayer card that is turned in is prayed for individually by members of our Life Groups. The Koinonia Class prays for the needs of those in our Prison Ministry.
