Over the past several years, Evangel Temple has placed a heavy emphasis on being a missions-minded church. We strongly believe that growth is directly related to the intensity of the missions program. We have seen the mission giving increase greatly and through the help of God, we are building churches and orphanages in other countries. As a church, we have literally received the command of Jesus in Mark 16:15 to "Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

As a church, we are presently supporting over 65 missionaries and mission organizations. Evangel Temple is not only a Giving and Sending missionary church, but we are also a Going missionary church. Since 1981, our people have gone to the mission field through our MAPS program which consists of building churches, schools and orphanages. Our Maps teams have built in excess of 25 buildings around the world. They also take a “Medical Missions Team” with them so as they build a new building they are also meeting the medical needs of people in the Name of Jesus. Pictures from past MAPS trips.

Our Affect Destiny Teams touch countries with God's Word and establish new congregations. In 1992, we established the first Pentecostal church in Kemerovo in the Siberian region of Russia. We have since established or helped strengthen over a dozen additional churches throughout Russia.
