Evangel Family Christian Academy is in its sixteenth year and has again witnessed the blessings of the Lord Jesus. The enrollment for this year is another new high with four hundred and forty-five families as members of the EFCA ministry. Each family has a sincere spirit of gratitude to Evangel Temple pastors and members for the privilege and protection this church body offers through its support of the home school ministry. Our EFCA families are impacting the Kingdom of God. Throughout the months of August and September during the Ten Commandment rallies, several of our home school students gave leadership in worship, communications, and helps ministry. In September our high school students led a statewide prayer rally at the State Capitol. Many families from EFCA were involved in missions’ outreach, giving over $500 toward the Russian Affect Destiny trip, as well as sponsoring the Matthes family in their efforts to go to the mission field. The EFCA family has seen at least four families go overseas in full time missions’ work this year. A group of our students worked to send over 250 letters to those military men stationed in Iraq as well as collected over four hundred pounds of food for the local food bank. The love of Jesus was shared with residents in the VA hospital and local nursing homes through monthly outreaches done by the EFCA students. We are so grateful to God for His continual equipping and blessing on EFCA and this church family who stand with us as we endeavor to instruct our children in the Word of God.
