Evangel Christian Academy is committed to be an extension of the Christian family in training and developing Christian students for committed service to our Lord Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to the strengthening of our overall curriculum and the continual development and progression of our school. ECA has added a full time Guidance Counselor this year as well as two additional classes to the High School department. In addition to being fully accredited with AISA and SACS, ECA received this fall our full accreditation renewal for five years with the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools (ACTS). ECA has been blessed once again by receiving our third consecutive Blue Ribbon Status from AISA. This puts us in the top 10% of all private schools in the state of Alabama. ECA’s proposed improvements in athletics and physical education as part of the overall strategic plan to bring balance and challenge the academic program to a higher standard. This partly was achieved by winning the AISA 2A State Basketball Championship in 2003.
