Evangel has over 120 volunteer areas of service which allow every member an opportunity to connect and be a part of the Evangel Family.



Nursery (Newborn - 2yrs)

We believe that children begin learning from the moment they are born. The nursery exists to minister to the kids and not merely baby-sit. Within our rooms, we provide a safe and nurturing place for babies. The children enjoy stories, movies, music and simple curriculum centered around a Christian theme.

Promise Land / Sunday School
Promise Land: Ages 3 - 6
Sunday School: 1st - 6th Grade

Promise Land/Sunday School provides instruction of preschoolers in Christian education through praise & worship, curricular instruction in small groups, age appropriate activities and puppet skits. The ministry acts as a bridge between nursery and children's church by providing an environment which mimics the church setting, while giving the children integrated play, lessons, and snack time in a fun atmosphere.

Royal Rangers (1st - 8th grade)

The purpose of the Royal Rangers is to develop boys into well balanced men of God. We do this by focusing on the four ways a boy grows - mentally, physically, socially and spiritually. It provides an opportunity for a mature Christian man to spend time mentoring them.

Mpact Clubs

Mpact is a tool used in our church to introduce 1st to 8th grade girls to Jesus Christ and to train them to follow Him. It is a place for girls to enjoy friendship, have opportunities to introduce their friends to Jesus, and to be mentored by a sponsor who cares for them.

Loaves & Fishes Food Ministry

The Evangel food ministry distributes food every Wednesday to those in need. Volunteers are needed to help load and unload the food, stock the pantry shelves, greet the people on Wednesdays and help with the scheduling.

Prison Outreach

Spiritual Awakening Prison Ministry reaches out weekly to incarcerated women in the City Jail by teaching a Christ-based twelve-step discipleship program. The same program is also being offered monthly to the ladies at L.I.F.E. Tech. You can be a part of either of these life-changing ministries through the distributing of literature, collecting prayer requests, being a witness of God's power through prayer and sharing God's love.

Greeters

One of the first impressions that visitors have of Evangel is made by those that are Greeters on any given Sunday. This is a very "visible" / first impression ministry and crucial is to the growth of the Evangel family.

Connection Power

One of the ways we minister to this family of believers is through visitation. We need those who are able to visit, call and pray for people. The four areas targeted are: Nursing Homes, Hospital, Shut-ins and Visitor follow-up.

Audio / Media

The Audio / Media team is a very important part of the Worship Ministries of Evangel. This ministry plays a part in each Sunday service, as well as the special presentations throughout the year. Media Center

The Media Center provides tapes, CD's of sermons from our Sunday morning services and DVD's of special events. Volunteers use duplicating equipment to make copies for distribution. Training is provided.
